The little sibling to its younger brother next door, the UDX shares some of the Akihabara Dai Building's features, but is a little more refined. It has the same blue glass curtain wall skin, but instead of featuring lateral lines, the panes are all flush and smooth. The facade is recessed on its first floor, giving the building a more human scale and allowing air and light to stream through. This sense of light and space is enhanced by the fact that the first floor is the height of three ordinary stories.
